About Us
My name is Anita and by the age of 30 I had explored all seven continents. I live to travel and my favourite sport is shopping. I love getting the latest and greatest a season (or more) before everyone else back in Australia and at much lesser prices. From my multiple shopping trips to the USA I have acquired suitcases full (and suitcases!) of clothing, shoes, handbags, homewares, cosmetics and perfumes so much so that over the past ten years I have literally only bought a handful of items at home as basic top-ups for my wardrobe. I just refuse to pay the prices us Aussies get charged, apparently due to the taxes and shipping because we are so far away. When I go through my savings (otherwise known as wins or trophies!) at the end of each mammoth shopping day I’m always astounded and rather proud of my efforts. Some of the best bargains from my last trip in December - January were (in USD):
- Armani leather dress for $60 and leather pants for $15- Ralph Lauren dresses for $30 that cost $300+ each in online stores and I couldn’t even find them in Australia - Calvin Klein tops for only $10 each and a Calvin Klein dress for just $60 which was $150- Cynthia Rowley dress that was $395 down to $100- An Eliza J dress for only $50- Ralph Lauren vest that cost me $20 but is $160 online- Tory Burch 100ml eau de parfum and rollerball gift pack which online costs $158 but I scored it for only $91- MAC cosmetics which are all half the price in America than what we pay in Australia- Clarins cosmetics for at least $20 less than the same products in Australia - $19 for Clinique toner which in Australia costs $52AUD- An &Daughter jumper that was $350 down to $100- Leather handbags in a variety of colours from only $20- Laundry by Shelli Segal dress that was $128 down to $25- Banana Republic dresses that cost $30- $30 each for pairs of Ralph Lauren black and navy work pants- Jeans varied from $7 to $40 for Levis but there are so many options in between- Multiple pairs of shoes and boots from only $20 up to $40
